Showcase

 
Each year we present a ‘showcase’ piece, which combines the playtogether orchestra, dance and percussion groups in a themed performance involving all the students. It’s the grand finale and is always an invigorating way to end the course. With music beautifully arranged for us by Ruben Rivera and vibrant costume and dance from Cliona, it really is a special event. The 'showcase orchestra' is by invitation and for students of Book 4+ (minimum age 7 but more often from age 10). Less experienced and younger players join the percussion section or perform in the stage production.

Previous themes have included: Superheroes, Jungle, Samba Carnival, Outer Space, Flower Power and 'Around the world'!

The theme for 2025 was...... "LOOK UP!"
