The Cellofest Bursary Scheme
Cellofest is a not-for-profit organisation, with all surplus funds being allocated to bursaries.
The Cellofest bursary scheme helps children and families who would not otherwise be able to attend Cellofest. Children must be taught by Suzuki teachers that are trained and are members of the British Suzuki Music Association (BSMA).
Cellofest has a limited fund for bursaries. Priority is given to families whose need is greatest and decisions are based on gross annual income and outgoings. Each application is considered on a case by case basis and the following conditions apply:
In exceptional circumstances, such as sudden financial hardship or additional educational needs, exceptions maybe considered if the fund allows. If you would like to apply to the bursary scheme please contact us for the relevant forms.
The fund is supported by The Cello Corner Foundation. The Susanne Beer Cello Corner Foundation supports young cellists through cello and bow loans, performance opportunities and grants for tuition. Please be in touch with the foundation directly if you have a cello or bow you would like to donate.
We also welcome contributions from the general public and corporate sponsorship.
