Parents


A parent must accompany children under 13 and are responsible for them at all times. They are also expected to attend their child’s classes.

But - it’s not only about the children – parents can join in too! 

Activities for parents include:
  • Group class for beginner and intermediate (cello)
  • Playtogether (string players)
  • Chamber Music (subject to numbers)
  • Baby-sitting exchange service between parents
  • Enrichment sessions - percussion or singing
  • Adult only swim times
  • Fitness Suite (limited numbers and times)
  • Tennis courts
  • Music shop 

Stewards run games and craft sessions during the afternoon and evening to allow you to participate in some of these activities. Children aged 5+ can be signed in to these sessions. 

In each boarding house there is a central common room and kitchen where parents can meet in the evenings for a glass of wine and a chat.
