Regina Fuentes Gimeno (ESP)
Graduated Superior by Conservatory of Music of Aragon, studying with D. Apellániz and A. L. Quintana, and Quartet Casals in the specialty of chamber music. Later she expanded her studies at the School of High Musical Studies in Santiago de Compostela, where she received classes from Barbara Switlaska. Throughout her training she received classes from M. de Macedo, A. Polo, D. Martinez, C. Pestalozzi, D. Ethève, A. Mata, J. Marie Gamard. In the field of the Baroque Violoncello, she took courses with V. de Hoog, L. Luckert, O. Centurioni, Itziar Atutxa.
She has been a member of JORVAL, Orchestra "Concerto-München", Youth National Orchestra of Spain, Youth Orchestra of Galícia Symphony Orchestra. She has collaborated with the Galician Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia and Symphony Orchestra of Valencia.
In the teaching field, she has received training from the Suzuki Method by Arantza López, Rubén Rivera and Chantal Latil, finishing this training in 2013. As a Suzuki teacher, she has worked at Utem Escola de Música and now at Cordes Espai Educatiu. She also teaches courses at KORTJAKE Suzuki School (Belgium), Anne Van Laar Cello School (Holland), and several Suzuki schools in Poland, as well as in different editions of the National Suzuki Course of Spain.
She is a founding member of the old music group "Música Trobada" with which he has made the recording of two albums and numerous concerts in different festivals. Since October 2016, he has occupied the chair of Barroc Cello in Early Music Departament at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Castellón.
