Lucía Díez (ESP)
Lucía is a Spanish cello teacher based in Madrid. She studied cello with Marina Kolesnikova and Viguen Sarkissov.
Her passion for pedagogy and love for constant learning led her to start the Suzuki Method journey with Arantza López and Eulàlia Subirà as teacher trainers by the end of 2014, and to complete level 5 in 2020 with a deeply transformed understanding of teaching. She has also been fortunate to learn from Carey Beth Hockett, Anja Maja, Chantal Latil, Tessa Oakley, and Ruben Rivera among others.
She is a passionate and engaged teacher focused on the global development of the student, with appreciation and respect as foundations of her teaching. Joy and connection are two of her favorite tools for a successful and happy learning process.
Her online project, www.cellolabstudio.com is a blog where she regularly posts to bring the Suzuki Method closer to the families.
