Cello Teacher, Pedagogical, Musical, and Artistic Direction
Chantal DARIETTO-LATIL is a distinguished musician and educator, holding the Premier Prix in Cello and Chamber Music from the Conservatoire National de Région de Marseille. She furthered her studies with renowned cellist Reine Flachot and collaborated with Alain Fléau for several years. After earning her Level 5 International Suzuki Method certification, she founded her cello school, L’ Education du Talent Musical.
As a passionate advocate for the Suzuki philosophy, she completed her training with Anne Grabe and was mentored by Carey Beth Hockett, a prominent figure in this pedagogical approach. In 2002, she was named an International Teacher Trainer and Examiner by the European Suzuki Association and has since trained cello teachers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, and France.
Chantal has shared her expertise at numerous international events, including a conference on string teaching at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and a pediatric congress at the Palais du Pharo in Marseille. She has also given master classes in Sweden, Denmark, England, Italy, Spain, and Finland. Notably, she participated in the World Cello Meetings in Kobe, Japan, alongside luminaries such as Janos Starker and Mstislav Rostropovich, performing in a closing concert with 1,000 cellists from around the globe.
Rondo Di Cello Ensemble

Founded in 1987, the Rondo Di Cello Ensemble is a group of talented young cellists aged 12 to 18. Established to celebrate the joy of ensemble playing on the cello, this group brings out the unique qualities of the instrument through its rich tonal range and repertoire.
Under Chantal’s direction, the ensemble has performed at prestigious festivals, including the Festival Dalhalla (Sweden), Via Francigena Festival (Italy), and Cathedral in May Festival (France). They have also represented European talent at the Wratislavia Festival in Poland and received the Gold Trophy at the "Children of the World" competition.
The group’s repertoire spans original works (Popper, Casals, Villa-Lobos) and transcriptions (Vivaldi, Bernstein, Piazzolla). They actively contribute to contemporary music, premiering works by various composers. Committed to social causes, the ensemble performed at the United Nations' International Day Against Child Labor in Marseille.
Chantal DARIETTO-LATIL’s dedication has transformed Rondo Di Cello into an internationally recognized ensemble, inspiring audiences and showcasing the transformative power of music.
